Former Soviet President and Nobel Laureate Mikhail Gorbachev has been one of the twentieth century's most pivotal leaders. He built relationships with the West, laid the foundation for democracy in Russia, and ended the Cold War. Now retired from politics, Gorbachev founded the Gorbachev Foundation, a non-profit, non-partisan educational foundation dedicated to addressing the challenges of and articulating new priorities for the post-Cold War world. Gorbachev will speak on a variety of issues, including the role of IT in a global economy.
